Lockdown food: Charity foundation shares items door to door to prevent overcrowding

Ghanaian charity foundation, the Afi Antonio Foundation, has shared food items to many needy people one on one This has been in the bid to provide for their needs during the lockdown, whilst keeping the social distancing protocols There have been several reports of local residents crowding for food whenever it is being distributed to them in public The Afi Antonio Foundation, which was founded by Afi Antonio, has distributed many food items to needy Ghanaians who have been affected by the lockdown exercise. Gari, sugar, milk powder, sardine, milo, biscuits and water were all distributed to people on the street with no homes and also to some residents of the Tema New Town. “The packages were given to old men/women who can’t work, old widowed women, and children. Because of social distancing, we went to their homes to avoid crowding,” Afi Antonio notated.
